Da AEGTESKAB modtog Danish Music Award i hhv 2024 for deres debutalbum og i 2025 som årets live-band, beskrev juryen musikken og bandet som:
“Enkelt og lige på, ærligt. Et album som går rent ind.”
“Årets vinder af Live-prisen er ikke nem at genrebestemme og har ry af at være nyskabende med masser af sjæl og personlighed. De tre musikere har hver især vundet et væld af priser og opnået international anerkendelse gennem projekter som Mike Andersen Band, Blicher Hemmer Gadd, Sunbörn og Vestbo Trio.
I AEGTESKAB mødes deres erfaring, nysgerrighed og kærlighed til hinandens musik i et fællesskab, der tydeligt mærkes ude i salen.
Når trioen bliver spurgt, hvilken genre musik de spiller, svarer de enkelt:
“Det er bare musik, men der er elementer at rock, blues, soul, pop og jazz”

When AEGTESKAB received the Danish Music Award in 2024 for their debut album and again in 2025 as Live Act of the Year, the jury described the band and their music as:

AEGTESKAB exists in the space where genres meet and dissolve. Over the past years, we have experienced how our music brings together listeners from very different musical worlds – roots and blues audiences standing side by side with jazz listeners and rock fans, united by the same live experience.
